Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using the Khedma mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Khedma reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Khedma is a delivery and logistics platform that connects three types of users:

• Customers — individuals placing delivery or personal shopping orders
• Drivers — independent contractors who fulfill deliveries
• Supervisors — operations personnel who manage orders and drivers

Khedma offers two primary service types: Pick Up & Deliver (point-to-point package delivery) and Personal Shopper (driver purchases items on behalf of the customer).

• You must be at least 18 years of age to use Khedma.
• You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
• Drivers must hold a valid driver's license and comply with all applicable traffic and transportation laws in Qatar.
• One account per person. Creating duplicate or fraudulent accounts is prohibited.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at info@khedma.org if you suspect unauthorized access.

Khedma reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose a risk to other users.

• Orders are subject to driver availability and operational hours.
• Pricing is calculated dynamically based on distance (Pick Up) or time (Personal Shopper) and fetched from our backend.
• Khedma acts as a platform connecting customers and drivers. Khedma is not liable for the condition of items picked up or purchased by drivers.
• Customers are responsible for ensuring pickup addresses are accessible and items are legally permissible to transport.
• Prohibited items include but are not limited to: weapons, illegal substances, hazardous materials, and items banned under Qatari law.

• Payments are processed via SkipCash (Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay) or cash on delivery.
• In-app wallet funds can be topped up but are non-transferable and non-refundable except at Khedma's discretion.
• Refunds for failed or disputed orders are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Submit a support ticket within 24 hours of the incident.
• Promo codes and coupons are subject to individual terms and may expire without notice.

• Drivers operate as independent contractors, not employees of Khedma.
• Drivers are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and compliance with Qatari regulations.
• Drivers must maintain a minimum rating to remain active on the platform.
• Background GPS tracking is required during active orders. Drivers are notified via a persistent notification when tracking is active.
• Earnings are subject to Khedma's payout schedule and may be withheld pending dispute resolution.

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users or Khedma staff
• Manipulate ratings or reviews
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute the App
• Use automated bots or scripts to interact with the platform
• Circumvent payment systems or engage in fraudulent chargebacks

The Khedma name, logo, App design, and all content are the exclusive property of Khedma and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not use our branding or content without prior written permission.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Khedma shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to: lost profits, data loss, delivery delays, or damage to items during transit.

Khedma's total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific order giving rise to the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Qatar.

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time via the Delete Account page. Khedma may suspend or terminate your access without notice for violations of these Terms.
